On July 8, Eric Brousseau, Dean of the Institute of Institutional and Organizational Economics of Paris Sciences & Lettres (PSL) University, visited the School of Management of Shandong University to conduct a collaborative exchange seminar. Attendees included Bu Naipeng, Deputy Director of the Department of International Affairs; Ding Ronggui, Dean of the School of Management; Xin Jie, Director of the Department of Strategic Management and Innovation and Entrepreneurship; Wang Shujun, Director of the Department of Corporate Finance. The meeting was chaired by Wang Jing, Director of International Cooperation and Accreditation Center.
Ding Ronggui outlined Shandong University’s and the School of Management’s vision, academic development, experimental platform construction, as well as international cooperation and accreditation initiatives. Eric Brousseau introduced PSL University’s Institute of Institutional and Organizational Economics, covering its historical evolution, faculty strength, curriculum design, and collaboration projects in China. Both sides reached core consensus on joint training programs. Ding emphasized that cross-border educational collaboration should transcend developmental boundaries, with in-person, real-world teaching forming the foundation of degree programs. Following the meeting, both institutions will refine cooperation plans and accelerate project evaluation and approval processes.
This seminar marks an important step in deepening the School’s collaboration with top European universities. Leveraging complementary disciplinary strengths, both institutions aim to jointly develop training programs aligned with industrial needs and continuously enhance the school’s internationalization.
