Exchange Programs



Rennes School of Business


Founded in 1991, the Groupe Ecole Supérieure Commerce Rennes (Rennes School of Business) is considered to be Europe’s most internationally focused management school. Through its network of over 350 partner universities worldwide, students in all of its programs are provided with unique opportunities to learn in an international and multi-cultural environment.


Participation: After a minimum of two years of bachelor studies at the SoM, students can participate in an exchange at Rennes School of Business (SB) for one semester or one full year, and can choose from the list of courses at the Undergraduate Credit Transfer level offered at Rennes SB.

Students from the SoM registered on a master’s program can also take part in exchanges at Rennes SB for one semester or one full year, and can choose from the list of courses Rennes SB offers at the Postgraduate Transfer level.

Four semester slots are offered by Rennes SB, so the SoM can send four students for one semester OR two students for one full year.


Requirements:  Exchange students who wish to follow courses in English should have a proficiency level equivalent to a TOEFL score of 550 (paper-based test) or 79 (Internet-based test). If they are native speakers, a language test is not required.




Singapore Management University


As one of Asia’s premier universities, the Singapore Management University (SMU) is internationally recognized for its world-class research and distinguished educational record. SMU was established in 2000, and its mission is to generate cutting-edge research that has a global impact and produce broad-based, creative, and entrepreneurial leaders for the knowledge-based economy.


Participation:

1. 4+1 Direct Admission

After completing a four-year undergraduate program in Shandong University, students can pursue their master’s degrees at SMU.


2. 1+1+n Concurrent Masters

After the first year of their master’s degree, students at Shandong University can go to SMU for one year and then return to Shandong to complete their master’s.


3. Collaboration: 3+1.5 Fast Track

After completing the first three years of their undergraduate courses at Shandong University, students can go to SMU to pursue their master’s degrees, while also completing their bachelor’s degree graduation requirements for Shandong University.


Requirements:

1. 4+1 Direct Admission

GPA 3.0 out of 4.0 or equivalent

SMU Admission Test score of 55 or higher (or a GMAT score of 600 or higher)

IELTS score of 6.5 or higher, TOEFL score of 90 or higher, or equivalent

Students with TOEFL scores between 90 and 95 (or IELTS scores between 6.5 and 7.0) are required to take an English Communication Course at SMU if they are accepted into the Program.


2. 1+1+n Concurrent Masters  

An undergraduate degree from a recognized institution of higher education

SMU Admission Test score of 55 or higher (or a GMAT score of 600 or higher)

IELTS score of 6.5 or higher, TOEFL score of 90 or higher, or equivalent

3. 3+1.5 Fast Track

A transcript of Shandong University undergraduate degree currently enrolled in, with a GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 or equivalent

IELTS score of 6.5 or higher, TOEFL score of 90 or higher, or equivalent

Fordham University


Fordham University is a private research university located in New York, U.S. This leading national university enjoys an excellent reputation worldwide. Second only to Columbia and New York Universities in terms of recognition among New York institutions, it boasts a very large alumni community in the city.


Participation: After one year at Shandong University, postgraduate students can choose to continue studying Accounting and Marketing Intelligence at Fordham University. They must then return to Shandong in the third year to complete their studies. After graduation, they will be granted their master’s degrees by Shandong and Fordham Universities.


Requirements: Fordham University’s courses are taught in English. A good knowledge of English is therefore required.




National Chung Hsing University


National Chung Hsing University (NCHU) is a research-oriented public comprehensive university in Taiwan Province, China, founded in 1919.


Participation: SoM students can participate in academic exchanges at NCHU.




Fu Jen Catholic University


Fu Jen Catholic University (FJCU) is a world-renowned research-oriented comprehensive university under the direct administration of the Vatican Ministry of Education. Founded in Beijing (Peiping) in 1925, it is one of the four leading universities in Beijing, along with Tsinghua, Peking, and Yanjing Universities.


Participation: After completing the first three years at the SoM, undergraduate students can complete their bachelor’s degrees at FJCU in Taiwan and will be awarded a Shandong University degree after completing the one-year study program.
