The School of Management’s academic team consists of leading scholars and teachers at all levels of experience. The School maintains close cooperation with both domestic and foreign scholars. Currently the team consists of 154 full-time teachers, 43 of whom are professors and 65 associate professors. To further improve the quality of the faculty, the School has established a system of Chair/Distinguished Professors and Visiting Professors and has recruited various experts, scholars, and entrepreneurs with extensive academic experience in management practice as part-time professors.
The research scope of the School of Management has continued to develop. The School is the “economic management research base of Shandong province,” and thus is central to management research output, both in Shandong province, where it provides consulting services for government departments and enterprises, and in China as a whole. Over the past five years, teachers from the School of Management have published more than 270 papers that have been indexed by SSCI, EI, and CSSCI, along with more than 50 monographs, and have won 15 provincial and ministerial awards. The School has undertaken 40 national vertical research projects (including three major projects and three key projects), supported by bodies such as the National Social Science Foundation of China, National Natural Science Foundation of China, National Soft Science Foundation of China and Humanities, and the Social Science Foundation of the Ministry of Education, in addition to over 140 provincial and ministerial research projects.
