Department of Leadership and Organizational Management Visited the DMI Industrial Group

In order to cultivate the innovative thinking of master and doctoral students and to integrate theoretical knowledge into the practice of enterprise management, faculty and students of the Department of Leadership and Organization Management of the School of Management, Shandong University recently visited DMI Industrial Group Co. Ltd. with the theme of "Dialogue with Entrepreneurs - Finding Innovative Topics from Management Practices". The activity was organized by Professor Song Zhaoli (National University of Singapore), part-time Director of the Overseas Department, with the participation of Professor Liu Bing, Professor Cai Di, and seven other teachers as well as ten master and doctoral students.



At the meeting, Shi Qianping, Chairman of the Group and member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, shared the company business, internal management, and social activities of the Group from the history, the process and the current status of the start-up around his entrepreneurial experience, and discussed with faculty and students about the psychological perception and profound experience at different stages of entrepreneurial career. HR Manager Han Tingting introduced the internal HR management mode, talent management concept, and related business, and discussed with faculty and students about the organization management system and management problems. The two sides reached a consensus that they would carry out in-depth exchanges and cooperation on the joint construction of party branches, explore the innovative paths of students' practice and internship, and research and academics, and together seek high-quality development.


Before the meeting, Li Zhonghou, Director of the Political Research Office of the Group led the team to visit the Northern Overseas Chinese International Center, DMI International Information Industrial Park, and the industrial printer workshop of Jinhengfeng Technology Group Co., Ltd. and introduced in detail the operation mode of the park and the production and operation of the enterprises, with an emphasis on describing the development layout of the Intelligent Industrial Park.



Through field visits and dialogues with entrepreneurs, the team observed the operation mode, management challenges, and solution strategies of enterprises, which helps to cultivate master and doctoral students to deeply understand the practical value and application scenarios of theoretical knowledge, inspire innovative thinking in research, and cultivate the ability of critical thinking and solving practical problems. In the future, the School will smooth the strong connection and positive interaction between disciplines and enterprises in science and education innovation and talent cultivation, and deepen the integrated development of "industry, academia, research and utilization".
