On the afternoon of August 23, Zhu Junhua, Vice President of Greentown Management Holdings Co., LTD., Su Michun, General Manager of Zhejiang Xinglian Marketing Planning and Management Co., LTD., and Chen Song, Executive Manager of Zhejiang Xinglian Marketing Planning and Management Co., LTD., visited the School of Management. Wu Changqi, Dean of the School of Management, Ji Xiaoqing, Party Secretary of the School, Lu Junwei, Associate Dean the School, Liu Bing, Director of the Office of MBA/EMBA Education Center, Huang Xiaoting, Director of the Department of Culture and Tourism, Pang Yuankui, Director of the Office of the MBA/EMBA Education Center, and Kong Qingshan, Associate Professor of Department of Project Management and Industrial Engineering attended the discussion.
At the conference, Wu Changqi introduced the development course and discipline edge of School of Management, Shandong University. He said that, in the occasion of the 120 Anniversary of Shandong University, in-depth cooperation is welcomed in the preparation of “Belt and Road Initiative” Classical Learning Academy, the setting of chair professors, and the construction of talents cultivation bases and other aspects. This act will see refining the advanced thought and management case study as the starting point to jointly build a leading institute of Chinese management thinking and practice.
Zhu Junhua expressed his heartfelt thanks for the warm reception of the School of Management, and introduced the development history, investment layout and development direction of Greentown Management Holdings Co., LTD., which is regarded as a leader of China’s real estate asset-light development mode. What’s more, he also stressed the construction and operation of Nishan Sacredland and hoped that taking the Gengdu Classical Learning Academy of Nishan Sacredland as the basis, multi-dimensional deep strategic cooperation, such as teaching training, faculty co-construction and academic exchanges, could be launched with the School of Management of Shandong University, to utilize the resource advantages and jointly build a world-class special zone of cultural research and learning.
Ji Xiaoqing further clarified the significance of the construction of Nishan Sacredland to the development of Chinese Confucianism and Shandong cultural tourism, and proposed cooperation should be made by two sides to build a Confucian culture and education base, utilize the resource advantages and build a leading institute of management with Chinese management thought and practice. The two sides can carry out long-term cooperation in the construction of “Belt and Road Initiative” Classical Learning Academy, Chinese management thought and practice base, high-end talent training, MBA/EMBA education and teaching, and put forward specific requirements for the strategic cooperation framework and implementation of the project.
Lu Junwei introduced the foundation of the International Master of Project Management of Shandong University, and proposed to jointly build “Belt and Road Initiative” Classical Learning Academy through talent cultivation and scientific research, and carry out education and teaching of traditional Chinese culture for countries along the “Belt and Road”, so as to enhance the breadth and depth of bilateral cooperation in various aspects. Liu Bing introduced the teaching purpose of Shandong University’s MBA/EMBA programs and the foundation of Confucianism education in detail, and proposed that the two sides complement each other in terms of learning map, integrity education, social services and scientific research. Huang Xiaoting introduced cooperation frontiers including the MTA (Master of Tourism Administration) cultivation and smart tourism cloud platform, and pointed out the importance of the cooperation between the two sides to solve the tourism problems and education gaps in Shandong Province on project cooperation of Nishan Sacredland.
At the meeting, the two sides reached consensus on cooperation intention and identified important time points. In the next step, the strategic cooperation framework and specific content will be further coordinated to gradually promote the implementation of specific projects.
