Shen Changpeng, Senior Vice President of BlueSword Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., Chen Xianglong, Deputy Director of the Human Resources Department, Liu Jing, Manager of the Human Resources Department, and Zhang Zhipeng, Head of Digital Twins R&D, visited the School of Management on the morning of November 16. They discussed how they could cooperate with the School on the construction of the SDU-BlueSword Intelligent Experimental Platform, the development of experimental courses, the training of interdisciplinary talents, and joint party construction. Associate Dean Meng Qingchun and Deputy Party Secretary of the School Shi Yan represented the School of Management at the meeting.
Meng Qingchun introduced the School of Management’s approach to discipline development and reform, and pointed out that the School has been “streamlining and advancing majors” to facilitate the development of higher disciplines in undergraduate education in the new era. The original 10 undergraduate majors have been reduced to four, based on the two first-level disciplines of Business Administration and Management Science and Engineering. Logistics Management, Information Management, and Industrial Engineering have been integrated into the new Intelligent Engineering and Innovation experimental class, which brings together superior academic and faculty resources to cultivate top-quality talent. This represents a new curriculum system and a new talent training model. The head of this new class, Wu Aihua, introduced the curriculum approach, training objectives, and student-selection methods. Zhang Zhipeng introduced the architecture, application value, and approach of Digital Twins and demonstrated the modeling process of this industrial simulation software. Currently, 90% of domestic industrial simulation products are imported, so the Digital Twins product of BlueSword Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. can help to redress the balance.
After the meeting, the participants visited the Laboratory Center of the School of Management. The two sides agreed that the experimental platform could meet the teaching needs of the Intelligent Engineering and Innovation experimental class and of other related majors in the School of Management.
Wen Decheng, Director of the Quality Management Research Center of Shandong University, Gai Jianhua, Executive Director of the Management Experiment and IT Service Center, Yu Guodong, Director of the Industrial Engineering Research Institute, and Liu Weibo, Associate Professor of the Project Management and Industrial Engineering Department attended the meeting.
