On the afternoon of March 16th, Andrea Lu, the Associate Dean of the Faculty of Business and Economics, the University of Melbourne, visited the School of Management, Shandong University, where the two sides held a symposium. Present at the meeting were Dean Ding Ronggui, Vice Dean Tang Guiyao, and Wang Jing, Director of the Center for International Cooperation and Accreditation of the School of Management, among others.
Ding Ronggui extended a warm welcome to Andrea Lu and briefly introduced the development of the school. He stated that this symposium provided a good opportunity for both sides to enhance understanding, deepen friendship, and expand cooperation. He expressed the hope that in the future, the two schools could strengthen exchanges and cooperation in a broader range and at a deeper level, and promote the continuous development of cooperation. The two sides held in-depth discussions on topics such as the development of the school, talent cultivation, and international exchanges and cooperation. Based on the actual development of their respective schools, the participants also conducted in-depth discussions on issues such as discipline construction, teacher and student exchanges, and the expansion of cooperation mechanisms, laying a solid foundation for future cooperation.
After the symposium, Andrea Lu, accompanied by relevant staff of the school, visited the Management Discipline Experimental Center to learn about the school’s situation in terms of the construction of teaching and research platforms, experimental and practical support, and the application of digital management scenarios. This symposium further strengthened the communication and connection between the School of Management, Shandong University and the Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Melbourne, which is of positive significance for promoting international exchanges and cooperation between the two sides, expanding cooperation space, and promoting the high-quality development of the schools.
