
Recently, the Project Management Institute Global Accreditation Center for Project Management Education Programs (PMI-GAC), an international authoritative accreditation institution in the field of project management, officially issued its accreditation decision letter. Following review at the GAC Board Meeting in April 2026, the Bachelor of Management in Project Management and Master of Engineering in Project Management programs at the School of Management, Shandong University have successfully passed reaccreditation and retained their international accredited status. The accreditation is valid for six years, from September 1, 2025 to August 31, 2031.
In its accreditation decision, GAC fully recognized the achievements of Shandong University’s project management education in the talent development system, curriculum design, faculty development, and continuous improvement mechanisms. It also highly commended the overall quality and internationalization level of the programs. The successful reaccreditation signifies that the college’s project management education consistently meets international high standards, and the quality of talent cultivation has been reconfirmed by the international authoritative institution.
PMI-GAC accreditation is one of the most influential professional accreditation in the global project management education field. It features a rigorous evaluation system and comprehensive standards, emphasizing learning outcomes and continuous improvement. Obtaining this accreditation not only enhances the international recognition of the programs but also provides strong support for students’ career development on a global scale.
