School of Management of Shandong University Launches Pre-Spring Festival Visit and Consolation Activities

As the year draws to an end amid the winter chill, warmth fills the hearts of all. On the occasion of the upcoming 2026 Spring Festival, from January 27 to February 5, the leadership team of the School of Management, Shandong University, led by Dean Ding Ronggui and Fu Yanzhi, Secretary of the Party Committee, visited more than ten retired veteran Party members, veteran cadres and veteran teachers, extending Spring Festival greetings and best wishes to them.

During the visits, the School leaders had heart-to-heart talks with the veteran comrades and their families, chatted about daily life and asked about their recent conditions. They inquired in detail about their physical health, daily living arrangements and living needs, listened attentively to the veteran comrades recalling the unforgettable years of teaching, academic research and dedicated work for the School, and expressed sincere gratitude for their hard work and significant contributions to the construction and development of the School. At the same time, they introduced the School's development achievements in recent years and future development plans to the veteran comrades, and solicited their opinions and suggestions on the formulation of the School's 15th Five-Year Plan. Based on their rich experience, the veteran comrades actively offered advice and suggestions, and put forward many valuable ideas. For the veteran comrades suffering from illnesses, the School leaders showed special concern, inquired in detail about their treatment and recovery, encouraged them to maintain an optimistic attitude and recuperate at ease, and stated that the School has always kept them close to its heart and will make every effort to assist them in solving practical difficulties.

The veteran comrades expressed their heartfelt thanks for the School's constant care, and were proud of the vigorous development of the School in recent years. They stated that they will always keep the School's development close to their hearts, and will continue to offer advice and suggestions for its development. This pre-Spring Festival visit and consolation activity is not only a concrete manifestation of the School's inheritance of the fine tradition of respecting and caring for the elderly, but also an important measure to rally cohesion and promote common development. Through the visits, the School has further shortened the distance between itself and the veteran comrades, enabled them to truly feel the warmth and care of the School, and laid a sound foundation for the School to better carry out service work for retired personnel in the future.
