Zhang Peng received his bachelor’s degree in National Economic Management from Shandong University in 1993 and his master’s degree and doctor’s degree in Business Management from Shandong University as well. He is now Dean and Professor of School of Marxism Shandong Jianzhu University, Director of the Academic Committee of the School of Marxism of Shandong Jianzhu University, Director of the Research Center of Marxism and China’s Economic and Social Development, and Master Advisor of the discipline of Marxist Theory. He was selected into the “100 Talents Project” of Shandong Province for three times in 2012, 2015 and 2018, and selected into the “High-level Talents in Urgent Need” of Shandong Province. He is member of the Preaching Team of the 18th and 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the Fourth and Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of Shandong Province; Expert of Shandong Provincial Committee of China Zhi Gong Party of China (outside the Party); Deputy Secretary General of Shandong Leadership Science Society; Backbone Teacher of “Ten Hundred Project” of ideological and political course in Shandong Province. He has been awarded the title of “Outstanding Teacher of the School” twice, the title of “Outstanding Member of CPC” twice and the title of “The Most Beautiful Teacher” once. He was awarded the title of “The Outstanding Teacher of the School” in 2019 and “Top Ten Teachers” in 2020.
In recent years, Zhang Peng has taught a total of 9 courses for undergraduates, masters and doctors, and is responsible for 1 excellent course for graduate education in Shandong Province. He presided over 5 provincial-level scientific research projects and 1 provincial-level teaching and research project. He has won the Second Prize of provincial teaching achievement with his teaching and research achievements once, the First Prize of departmental level four times and the Second Prize once with his scientific research achievements, and has published more than 20 papers and 1 academic monograph.
