Zhang Junying graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the School of Philosophy and Social Development of Shandong University, and then studied in EMBA Class 11 of the School of Management of Shandong University. Zhang Junying worked at the China Economic Herald Office of Dazhong News Group. In 2008, she studied in Italy and worked as a reporter for European Chinese Newspaper. In 2012, she studied and worked as a special correspondent for CRI Online in the United States.
Zhang had invited a group of SDU alumni teaching at Harvard to return to China and retrospect the 100-year history of SDU at Cheeloo College of Medicine, Shandong University. Zhang had also established the North American Branch in Boston with the support of Alumni Entrepreneur Club of Shandong University and became the General Secretary.
