Theme Alumni Activity of Shandong University Executive Management Education Centre (Third Phase) and the Launching Ceremony of 2024 China Management Insight Initiative Held

On the afternoon of March 9th, the theme alumni activity of Shandong University Executive Management Education Centre (Third Phase) and the launching ceremony of the 2024 China Management Insight Initiative were held.



Liu Min’an, Director of the Enterprise Service Department of Shandong Light Industry Collective Enterprise Association and Director of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Promotion Centre gave a lecture on “Shandong’s Industrial Development Focus and Layout”.



Fu Yanzhi, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Management, introduced the strengths and advantages of Shandong University and the School in social service and talent training, stressed that alumni are the reliable support for the rapid development of the University and the School, and looked forward to working together to create a better future of mutual reinforcement and mutual benefit and to make greater contributions to the construction of a strong country in education, science and technology, and talent.



Dean Wu Changqi attended the signing ceremony of cooperation between Shandong Public Thermal Power Group and Shandong University. Dean Wu said that the School will work together with alumni, with strategic cooperation enterprises and institutions, adhere to the Chinese path to modernization based in Shandong, serve the whole country, and strongly support the industrial transformation and upgrading of the country and Shandong.



During the event, Zhang Xiaofeng, Assistant Dean and Director of the Executive Management Education Centre, made the release of 2024 key social service projects of executive management education at Shandong University. Associate Professor Fang Zheng introduced the implementation plan of Action Learning and Structured Seminar for leading students.


More than 100 people attended the launching ceremony, including Zhou Lin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School, leaders of key cooperation units, students of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) Leading Talent Training Program, “Qi Dao Confucian Businessman” Business Management Seminar and class teachers.



The “Ministry of Industry and Information Technology Leading Talents Project” is jointly organized by the Talent Exchange Centre of the MIIT and the School, and is an important initiative to implement the national project of upgrading the quality of business management talents and helping enterprises to effectively improve the level of business management. The project has been fully affirmed by the Talent Exchange Centre of the MIIT.


As a platform for social service and cooperation among government, industry, academia, and research of the School, Shandong University Executive Management Education Centre focuses on the strategy of rejuvenating the country through science and education, the Western Development Strategy, ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin, the strategy of innovation-driven development and the comprehensive implementation of rural revitalization strategy. Through talent training, recruiting and attracting talents (campus recruitment, talent selection, and other support), management and technology consulting, industrial cooperation, business cases, public welfare classroom, innovation and entrepreneurship alliance, domestic and overseas study, book clubs, etc., the Centre will serve the state and central government enterprises, private enterprises, industry associations, the government, and other enterprises and institutions, and form alumni with more than 100,000 members and a dynamic, open and innovative social service cooperation ecology with the special characteristics of Shandong University.
