A successful ceremony marked the donation of pandemic prevention and control supplies by Zhang Xinfeng, alumnus of the School of Management, for the SDU anniversary celebrations

Tuper Group, an alumnus enterprise, donated epidemic prevention and control supplies worth 500,000 yuan to Shandong University (SDU) for its anniversary celebration on the afternoon of October 5. The donation ceremony was held at the central campus of SDU.



Zhang Xinfeng , Chairman of Shandong University Alumni Youth CEO Club, Standing Director of the Alumni Association, CEO of Tuper Group, and postgraduate of the class of 2005 from the School of Management. Other participants included Sang Xiaomin, member of the Standing Committee and Secretary of the Publicity Department of the Party Committee of Shandong University; Wang Fei, Secretary of the Cooperation and Development Department of Shandong University; Ji Xiaoqing, Party Secretary of the School of Management and Chairman of the School Alumni Association; Zhou Qinghua, Associate Director of Shandong University Celebration Preparation Office; Cao Rui, Deputy Secretary General of the Alumni Office and Alumni Association of Shandong University; and Lu Hao, director of the Alumni Association Office of the School of Management, Shandong University and Secretary General of Shandong University Alumni Youth CEO Club.


Tuper Group donated 10,000 special “health protection bags” worth more than 500,000 yuan, including customized disposable medical masks, alcohol-free hand sanitizer gel, medical cotton swabs, and other pandemic prevention supplies. The two sides signed the donation agreement at the ceremony. Sang Xiaomin issued the donation certificate for Tuper Group, and Sang Xiaomin, Wang Fei, Ji Xiaoqing, and Zhang Xinfeng also delivered speeches. The participants then held friendly discussions.



Sang Xiaomin introduced the overall arrangements for the 120th anniversary commemorations. On behalf of the University, he thanked Zhang Xinfeng for his heartfelt act of giving back to his alma mater and donating pandemic prevention supplies for the University’s anniversary celebrations. By supporting the University’s pandemic prevention and control work, an open and safe cultural and academic celebration would be ensured. Zhang Xinfeng recalled his fond memories of a wonderful experience at the School and thanked SDU for its support and education. He said that as an alumnus, he was very honored to contribute to the development of SDU on the occasion of its 120th anniversary.


Ji Xiaoqing thanked Zhang Xinfeng for his contribution to the 120th anniversary of SDU and expressed his best wishes for Zhang, hoping that he enjoyed a prosperous career, along with his wishes for the future success of the Tuper Group.


The Alumni Association of the School of Management welcomed the 120th anniversary of SDU by actively supporting the University’s broader Alumni Association. The alumni will be encouraged to reflect on, participate in, and embrace the anniversary celebrations, to ensure the continued development of an alumni–alma mater community with shared experiences, career paths, and culture.



Zhang Xinfeng is a postgraduate alumnus of the School of Management of SDU (class of 2005) and an undergraduate alumnus of the class of 1996 in the School of Information Science and Engineering. He is currently the Standing Director of the Alumni Association of Shandong University, Chairman of Shandong University Alumni Youth CEO Club, and CEO of the Tuper Group. Zhang Xinfeng founded the Tuper Group in 2010, which has since grown into one of the largest household medical and health companies in China, with more than ten subsidiaries and a total registered capital of more than 200 million yuan. Since the outbreak of COVID-19, the Tuper Group has donated over 20,000 pieces of urgently needed anti-pandemic supplies. The group has also provided medical protective equipment for teams in the Tokyo Olympic Games and will provide cryogenic disinfectant and medical pandemic prevention products for the upcoming Beijing Winter Olympics.
