In the celebration of the 120th Anniversary of Shandong University and the 4th Alumni Day of the School of Management, Fang Ying donated 120,000 yuan to her alma mater SDU to establish the “Yingxin” education fund, which would be used to support the freshmen of the School of Management. Wang Fei signed the donation agreement with Fang Ying, accepted the donation on behalf of the Foundation and Alumni Association, and presented the donation certificate to Fang Ying. Wu Changqi expressed gratitude to Fang Ying on behalf of the School, and welcomed all alumni to return to the University and the School.
In her speech, Fang Ying expressed her gratitude to the University, the School, and teachers, thanked SDU and teachers for attention and support to her growth, conveyed her pride in the outstanding achievements of the University and the School. Fang also hoped to do her bit to give something in return, helping the freshmen adapt to campus life better, motivating them to study hard, realize their self-worth and contribute to the development of society in the future. Finally, Fang wished SDU for more talents and further brilliance.
On behalf of the University, Wang Fei expressed gratitude to Fang Ying for her constant attention and support to SDU. The University will also make good use of alumni’s donations to reflect the gratitude, care and support of the University to its sustainable development and to provide a good platform for the growth of students. The achievements of the alumni are the glory of our alma mater. Wang conveyed pride in Fang’s achievements in the export of cultural soft power, and wished Fang a better development in the future.
