Sungkyunkwan University

Founded in 1398, the Sungkyunkwan University is a private higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large metropolis of Seoul (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants). This institution also has a branch campus in Suwon-si. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education of Korea, Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU) is a large-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 20,000-24,999 students) coeducational South Korean higher education institution formally affiliated with the Confucian religion. Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor's degrees in several areas of study.
