
On the morning of February 28, Sergio Terzi, Vice Dean of the Graduate School of Management and Delegate for International Relations at Politecnico di Milano, along with Delia Olivetto, International Development Manager and Director of Chinese Affairs, visited the School of Management at Shandong University for an exchange session. Ding Ronggui, Dean of the School of Management, Vice Dean Huang Xiaoting, and Zhang Xiaofeng, Assistant Dean and Director of the Center for Industry-Education Integration and Competency Development, attended the meeting. Wang Jing, Director of the International Cooperation and Accreditation Office, presided over the meeting.

On behalf of the School, Ding extended a warm welcome to the delegation and provided an overview of the School’s academic strengths, faculty resources, talent development initiatives, key achievements, and innovative practices. He emphasized that international exchange and cooperation serve as key drivers for advancing education. He expressed his hope that this meeting would lay a solid foundation for deeper collaboration between the two institutions and looked forward to leveraging each other's strengths for mutual progress.

Sergio Terzi provided a detailed introduction to the Graduate School of Management, Politecnico di Milano, highlighting its long-standing collaborations with Chinese institutions. He noted that the university has maintained close academic exchanges with many top-tier universities and has actively engaged in joint research projects in cutting-edge areas such as sustainable development and digital transformation. These collaborations have contributed to the global sharing and application of academic achievements, laying a solid foundation for further collaboration with the School.
During the discussion session, participants engaged in in-depth exchanges on topics such as academic collaboration, student exchange programs, summer schools, joint training programs, dual-degree initiatives, and executive education. Huang introduced the School’s efforts in integrating the "Management+" concept with AI technology, aiming to build an interdisciplinary and intelligent innovation platform to drive breakthroughs in academic research and talent development. Zhang discussed the market recognition of the DBA program in China with the delegation, and both sides agreed to prioritize a market-oriented approach by enhancing program attractiveness through high-quality courses and university-industry collaborations.

The meeting not only strengthened the friendly ties between the two institutions but also marked the beginning of their collaboration across multiple fields, paving the way for joint academic excellence. The meeting was also attended by Ren Rong, Executive Director of the MBA/EMBA Education Center, Fang Zheng, Executive Director of the Center for Industry-Education Integration and Competency Development, as well as faculty representatives and administrative staff.
