From February 3 to 5, Professor Ding Ronggui, Dean of the School of Management at Shandong University, was invited to attend the AACSB Global Deans Conference in Las Vegas, USA. The conference brought together more than 600 deans from business schools worldwide to discuss emerging trends and challenges in business education.

During the conference, Professor Ding actively engaged with representatives from Chinese business schools, showcasing the rapid development of business education in China. He shared the School’s innovative practices in discipline development, internationalization, and talent cultivation. Besides, he emphasized that the school will align its global expansion with national development priorities, realizing global engagement. He also reaffirmed the school's commitment to deepening collaboration with top international business schools and contributing to the advancement of global business education.

During the event, Lily Bi, President and CEO of AACSB, unveiled the "AACSB 2030 Vision", outlining three strategic priorities for the next five years: education accreditation based on global business education standards, thought leadership, and capacity-building programs. Participants engaged in in-depth discussions on the applications and ethical considerations of artificial intelligence in key areas of business education, sharing valuable insights on strategic planning, faculty development, research advancement, interdisciplinary collaboration, student cultivation, leadership, and sustainability. Lily Bi emphasized the need for business education to keep pace with global transformations, proactively addressing challenges such as AI and sustainable development, and nurturing future leaders with a global perspective and a strong sense of social responsibility.
