
On the afternoon of December 26, a delegation from the College of Humanities and Social Sciences convergence, Yonsei University MIRAE Campus, led by Dean Lee Kiyong and Vice Dean Oh Sangdo, visited the School of Management at Shandong University and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). Xu Xifeng, Director of the Department of International Affairs, Shandong University, and Ding Ronggui, Dean of the School of Management, attended the meeting. Tang Guiyao, Vice Dean of the School, presided over the meeting.
Xu extended a warm welcome to the delegation on behalf of the university. He emphasized the importance of international collaboration in education and expressed hope that the meeting would inspire new ideas, foster consensus, and open a new chapter of cooperation between the two parties.
Ding provided an overview of the School, highlighting its academic strengths, faculty resources, and talent cultivation. He stated that the School possesses a solid foundation for collaboration and extensive exchange resources, hoping to achieve complementary advantages and coordinated development with the College of Humanities and Social Sciences convergence, Yonsei University MIRAE Campus.
Oh Sangdo presented a summary of the history, faculty resources, academic characteristics, internationalization strategy, and overseas cooperation projects of the College. During the discussion session, participants exchanged ideas on topics such as discipline development, academic research collaboration, and faculty and student exchange programs, laying a foundation for future cooperation.

At the signing ceremony, Ding and Lee Kiyong signed the Memorandum of Understanding on behalf of their respective institutions.
The meeting not only deepened the friendship and mutual trust between the two universities but also marked the beginning of achieving excellence in multidisciplinary fields and co-creating world-class academic achievements. Faculty representatives and administrative staff from both sides attended the meeting.
Founded in 1885 and located in Seoul, Yonsei University is a comprehensive research university and one of the most famous institutions of higher education in South Korea, ranking 76th in the 2024 QS World University Rankings. Yonsei University MIRAE Campus, established in 1978 and originally known as the Wonju Campus, was renamed in 2014 to reflect the forward-looking development strategy of the University.
