Professor Zhao Xinyuan from Macau University of Science and Technology Invited to Give an Academic Report

On the morning of November 11st, Zhao Xinyuan, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor from the School of Liberal Arts at Macau University of Science and Technology, was invited to deliver an academic lecture titled Research and Reflections on Customer Misbehavior in AI Contextat the School of Management, Shandong University. The lecture was presided over by Associate Professor Han Ruobing from the Department of Culture and Tourism.


Zhao holds a PhD from Pennsylvania State University and serves as the professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Liberal Arts, Macau University of Science and Technology. His research interests include service and tourism management, organizational behavior, and human resource development. Zhao is a member of the editorial boards for several prominent journals, including the International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management (SSCI, Impact Factor: 9.1, Q1, 2023), Journal of Hospitality Marketing and Management (SSCI, Impact Factor: 11.9, Q1, 2023), Journal of Hospitality & Tourism Research (SSCI, Impact Factor: 4.4, Q1, 2023), and Bulletin of National Natural Science Foundation of China. He also serves as an executive member of the Organizational Behavior and Human Resources Professional Committee of the Chinese Academy of Management. Moreover, Zhao has received numerous accolades, including the Outstanding Research Achievement Award (Academic Paper Category) from China’s National Tourism Administration, the Best Paper Award from the Journal of Hospitality & Tourism Management, and the Outstanding Reviewer Awards from both Journal of Hospitality & Tourism Research and International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management. Zhao has presided over several major research projects, including one key project and two general projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, youth projects, as well as multiple provincial and ministerial projects. He has also published over 50 papers in international journals.
