School of Management Held an Exchange Meeting on Undergraduate Education and Teaching Reform Research Projects

In order to strengthen the process management of education and teaching reform research projects, improve the quality of the projects, and promote the transformation of stage achievements, according to the requirements of the Notice on Undergraduate Education and Teaching Reform Research Projects and Management of Shandong University in 2024, the School of Management, Shandong University convened the exchange meeting of 2024 undergraduate education and teaching reform research projects on the afternoon of June 12th. Sun Shuqin, Vice Dean of the School of Economics, and Song Zhenchun, Professor of the School of Management were invited to form an assessment expert group, and Vice Dean Huang Xiaoting attended the meeting.



Vice Dean Huang first introduced the basic situation of the projects. She said that the School has always supported teachers to carry out research and practice of education and teaching reform, emphasized the cultivation of teachers' teaching and research ability, and encouraged teachers to integrate the research into teaching to continuously improve their teaching practices. Each project team should make serious modifications and improvements in response to the issues raised by the experts, organize the research results according to the project plan, and promote the further transformation of teaching and research results.


14 projects were involved in this exchange. The project leaders in turn reported on the key points in the project research, the main reform research results and practical effects, innovation points, practical promotion, and application value. The experts made comprehensive comments based on the project reports and exchanges, and put forward substantive guidance and suggestions from the overall framework, the research process, specific operations, and other aspects of the project.


Through this exchange, the leaders of project teams summarized and shared their experience on their projects, and also had a deeper understanding of the paths, methods, and effects of other teachers in promoting education and teaching reform, which provided beneficial references for participants to improve their education and teaching abilities and strengthen the effectiveness of education and teaching reform. In the next step, the School will continue to explore the reform of education and teaching practice, strengthen the assessment of teaching and research projects, ensure that the project research is effective and fruitful, and effectively put the research results into teaching practice, so as to provide a solid guarantee for the comprehensive completion of first-class undergraduate education.
