School of Management Held a Meeting on Employment Support for 2024 Graduates

In order to further strengthen the level of the School's employment work and promote the high-quality employment of graduates, the School of Management, Shandong University held a meeting on employment support for 2024 graduates on June 6th. The meeting was presided over by Wu Changqi, Dean of the School, and Secretary Fu Yanzhi of the Party Committee, and attended by Li Kang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, department directors, secretaries of party branches, and counselors of graduating classes.



Secretary Fu emphasized that employment is a top priority for people and an important guarantee of social stability. We should prioritize the employment work and take more useful measures to help graduates achieve higher-quality employment. He pointed out that under the leadership of the School and the efforts of the faculty, the employment rate of graduates has been steadily increasing and the quality of employment has been improving year by year. The School has also been actively expanding the employment channels and has established a good cooperative relationship with a number of well-known enterprises, providing employment opportunities for graduates.


Deputy Secretary Li made a brief review of the School's graduate employment work in the past two years, detailing the current employment situation of the 2024 graduates, and the employment support list of each department. She proposed that directors and counselors should have an in-depth understanding of the specific situation of the unemployed graduates, formulate personalized support plans, and provide targeted employment guidance and services. At the same time, the School will also strengthen the contact with enterprises for more employment and internship opportunities.


Dean Wu emphasized that the employment of graduates is systematic work that requires the joint efforts of the whole school. At the same time, he asked all departments and counselors to seriously implement the requirements of the meeting to ensure that the measures are put into practice.
