Recently, the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Shandong Province announced the list of the First Batch of Shandong Province Digital Economy Innovation Platform. Through the procedures of affiliation submission, municipal authority recommendation, expert evaluation, etc., the Real Estate Digitization Innovation Laboratory led by Kong Qingshan, Associate Professor of the School of Management of Shandong University, was selected as one of the First Batch of Shandong Province Digital Economy Innovation Platform.
Relying on the National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center for Management Discipline and the National Virtual Simulation Experimental Teaching Center of Shandong University, the Laboratory takes the Ministry of Education's Industry-Academia Cooperation Collaborative Cultivation Project as an entry point, and is the first real estate digitization laboratory of national schools and universities and takes the lead in China in setting up an industry-academia-research integrated real estate digitization laboratory. The Laboratory was awarded Excellent Case of Digital Economy Application in Real Estate Industry.
Shandong Province Digital Economy Innovation Platform is a platform for the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Shandong Province to follow up the national digital economy development strategy, implement Shandong provincial government's Opinions on Accelerating the High-quality Development of the Digital Economy, Several Measures on Deepening Reform and Innovation to Promote the High-quality Development of the Digital Economy and other documents, to build the "5351" digital economy innovation platform system (Shandong Province strives to build 50 innovation labs, 300 innovation centers, 50 innovation service organizations and 100 innovation talent bases in the next five years), to promote the development of digital economy. This selection marks the School in the field of real estate at the forefront of Shandong Province. The Laboratory will continue to carry out basic theoretical research and engineering key technology research in big data decision-making and consulting on real estate, digital education and teaching, etc., so as to contribute to the high-quality development of the digital economy.
