In order to strengthen university-enterprise cooperation, promote the deep integration of research and industry, and at the same time promote the cross-university exchanges of doctoral training in the School and the practical activities in enterprises, Wu Changqi, Dean of the School of Management, Shandong University, led the doctoral students, postdoctoral students of the School and doctoral students of Guanghua School of Management of Peking University to visit Tianneng Battery Group Co., Ltd to carry out two-day’s investigation and research.
During the meeting, the two sides had an in-depth discussion on enterprise management, technological innovation, and talent cultivation and exchanged valuable experience and insights. Dean Wu said that university-enterprise cooperation is an important way to deepen the integration of industry, academia, and research. The two sides should further deepen the cooperation, enhance the construction of the collaborative training platform, promote technological progress and industrial upgrading, and seek high-quality development. Zhang Tianren, Chairman of Tianneng Battery Group, introduced in detail the strategic layout and future development direction of the Group and hoped that the cooperation with Shandong University could jointly promote the technological progress and sustainable development of the battery industry.
Before the meeting, the team visited Tianneng New Energy (Huzhou) Co., Ltd. and Tianneng Power Energy Co., Ltd. and learned in detail about the lithium battery production process and technological innovation, visited the lead battery production line and recycling production line, and highly appreciated the Group's advanced technology and environmental protection measures in the field of battery recycling. In the exhibition hall of the Group's headquarters in Huaxi Sub-district, Zhejiang Province, the team learned about the development history and future planning of the enterprise and gained an in-depth understanding of the Group's arduous entrepreneurial journey forty years ago and its many innovative achievements and technological advantages in the field of new energy.
The visit further deepened the cooperative relationship between the School and Tianneng Battery Group, laying a solid foundation for future cooperation in more fields. At the same time, the doctoral students of the two universities participated in the research collaboratively, which created the beginning of cross-university doctoral student exchanges.
