On April 10th, Jurica Pavičić, Vice President of the University of Zagreb, Sanja Sever Mališ, Dean of the Zagreb School of Economics and Management, Ivan Malbašić, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Organization and Informatics, and Nebojša Stojčić, Vice President of the University of Dubrovnik visited the School of Management of Shandong University. Dean of the School of Management Wu Changqi, Vice Dean Tang Guiyao, Professor Zhao Haichuan, the Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the School of Economics Han Juan and other staffs, attended the meeting.
During the meeting, Dean Wu warmly welcomed the visit of the University of Zagreb and the University of Dubrovnik. He gave a general overview of the mission and vision of the School, disciplinary development, experimental platform constructions, international cooperation and certifications. He also indicated that the School will further improve its construction and work hard to provide a Chinese perspective for management discipline development; Jurica Pavičić summarized the basic situations, disciplinary projects, academic research, and other aspects of the University of Zagreb; Nebojša Stojčić introduced the university background, research fields, and international cooperation of the University of Dubrovnik; Secretary Han provided a brief overview of the faculty, research projects, and international cooperation projects of the School of Economics. Both sides conducted deep discussions on potential cooperation projects such as future exchange visits for teachers and students, summer exchanges, academic research, and other projects, and reached a consensus on strengthening follow-up communications and cooperation.
The University of Zagreb is the oldest Croatian university and also the oldest university in South East Europe.
