From March 29th to 31st, the 16th Jianfeng Moment National Business Simulation Competition Final was held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. A total of 104 teams from across the country took part in the competition, using their knowledge to solve various problems in real business activities in a virtual environment, demonstrating their ability in business decision-making. In the end, the MBA teams from Shandong University’s “World’s Richest” won the national first prize. Additionally, four MBA teams from Shandong University, “Xiao Ming Hao Hai”, “Big Koi”, “Pinnacle”, and “Yi Pai Ji He”, won the national third prize. Professor Bao Chunbing from the School was awarded the title of Outstanding Guiding Teacher.
At the opening ceremony, Professor Bao, as the representative of the guiding teachers, delivered a speech, recounting his story with the competition. He mentioned that his transition from a competitor to a guiding teacher spanned a whole 12 years. In the future, he will continue to deepen his involvement in the industry, integrate knowledge into the competition system, and help students better apply what they have learned.
In the final, the “World’s Richest” team demonstrated a clear division of labor, and seamless cooperation, and relied on solid professional knowledge and strong analytical abilities, earning praise from the judges. The business competition introduced a real case from Blue Town Group, inviting all participating teams to conduct light-asset operation analysis and inviting business leaders to provide feasibility analysis and comments. Faced with the challenge, the team members actively collected data, processed information, and conducted an in-depth analysis of Blue Town Group’s business model and group characteristics. In the end, they combined their team’s reflections to develop a distinctive business case analysis plan. During the process of simulated decision-making and team presentations in English, the team members left a deep impression on the participating competitors and judges. With their outstanding performance, the team ultimately achieved the first prize, fully showcasing the outstanding comprehensive qualities and professional skills of Shandong University MBA students.
