On March 25th, the delegation led by Joep Konings, Dean of the Graduate School of Business, Nazarbayev University in Kazakhstan, visited the School of Management at Shandong University. Wu Changqi, Dean of the School of Management, and Vice Deans Zhang Jianghua, Tang Guiyao, and Huang Xiaoting attended the meeting.
During the meeting, Dean Wu briefly introduced the recent developments of the School and the progress of international exchanges and collaborations and reviewed the process of AACSB international accreditation. Dean Wu mentioned that Kazakhstan is one of the most important countries along the Belt and Road Initiative and expressed the hope that both schools can actively engage in faculty and student exchanges, deepen cooperation, and further expand the scope of collaboration. Joep Konings provided an overview of the Graduate School of Business, including its basic background, research projects, and talent development. He expressed the desire to send more students from the Graduate School of Business to study and exchange at the School, in order to contribute to achieving more fruitful outcomes in their cooperation. The two sides reached a preliminary cooperation intention on student exchange, joint cultivation, and research cooperation, and reached a consensus on further strengthening in-depth exchanges.
During the visit, the delegation also toured the Shandong University Museum and the Center for Research and Experience of Traditional Chinese Culture.
