In order to further enhance fire safety awareness and fire prevention skills, and effectively safeguard the safety of teachers, students and campus, the School of Management of Shandong University organized a fire safety training on March 15th.
On the morning of March 15th, the School organized teachers, students, and service assurance personnel to watch the Open Class on University Fire Evacuation Drill in the spring of 2024, jointly organized by the National Fire and Rescue Administration and the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China. In the afternoon, the School invited staff from the Security Office of Shandong University to guide participants to be familiar with the position of fire-fighting equipment in the School's office and teaching areas, as well as the use of fire emergency cabinets. They also carried out the practical operation of various types of fire equipment.
During the training, Zhou Lin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School emphasized that the School should attach great importance to fire safety work and actually improve safety awareness. Furthermore, the School should make full use of the training to develop a safety work plan and enhance work accuracy. It is necessary to improve the capability for fire fighting and safe evacuation work, to jointly safeguard the fire safety of campus, and to create a safe and stable campus life.
