School of Management Held a Meeting on the Revision of 2024 Undergraduate Training Program

The undergraduate training program is an important way for higher education institutions to implement the fundamental task of cultivating people with moral integrity, and it is the basis for carrying out talent training work and promoting various educational and teaching activities. On the afternoon of March 4th, the School of Management held a meeting on the revision of the 2024 undergraduate training program. Dean Wu Changqi, Secretary of the Party Committee Fu Yanzhi, Vice Dean Huang Xiaoting, and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee Li Kang attended the meeting, and heads of departments, core teachers, and representatives of counselors attended the meeting.



Secretary Fu pointed out that the talent training program is related to the quality of student training and the construction of discipline and specialty, and hoped that the departments would attach great importance to the research of the training program. Vice Dean Huang focused on the new requirements of the School’s revised opinions on the talent training program, highlighting the changes in the core aspects such as curriculum, teaching schedule, practical teaching, graduation requirements, etc., and put forward reasonable and feasible measures for the revision of the training program. Deputy Secretary Li collected students’ opinions and suggestions on undergraduate education and teaching in advance, and shared the feelings of undergraduates on the arrangement of credit hours, specialty knowledge, personal development planning, etc. in the meeting, hoping that the new training program can better serve the development and employment of students. Teachers at the meeting started in-depth discussions on the curriculum system, enrollment plan, and market demand, and put forward many rationalized opinions and suggestions to supplement and improve the talent training program. Dean Wu Changqi based on the School’s target of “Being Comprehensive and Striving for the First Class”, proposed to update the concept, set reasonable training objectives, improve the standard of talent training, develop a talent training program that is reasonable, meets the needs of the society, and has characteristics of the School.


The School has followed the overall goal of building a powerful country in education in 2035, insisting on high-quality construction and improving talent training capacity. The meeting is not only for interpreting the revision of the undergraduate training program, but also a kick-off for further deepening the reform of undergraduate education and teaching in the School and improving the quality of talent training.
