On January 18th, Wu Changqi, Dean of School of Management, led a team to Weichai Holding Group to carry out the discussion and exchange of enterprise management case development cooperation project. Ma Changhai, Secretary of Party Committee and General Manager of Weichai Holding Group Co., Ltd, and Jiang Ningtao, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of Weichai Group Holding Co., Ltd, participated in the symposium.
At the symposium, Ma Changhai said in his speech that with more than 20 years of reform and innovation and development, Weichai Group has made a series of achievements, and accumulated valuable experience and cases. The enterprise is looking forward to carrying out all-round, deep-level and regular cooperation with the School of Management, leveraging on the talent advantages of universities, refining Weichai’s practical experience in management and strengthening Weichai’s cultural heritage.
Wu Changqi said that in recent years, the School actively practices the development concept of “carrying forward the Chinese management thought, and constructing the first-class management school rooted in Shandong Province, serving China and impacting the world”, and responds to serving the requirements of national strategy and Shandong Province, creating a “Shandong University Management Department” social service brand. In the next step, the School will take the case development cooperation as a handhold, accelerate the forging of Weichai’s brand soft power, and assist the enterprise to continuously push forward the construction of world-class enterprises.
Cai Di, Director of Management Case Center of Shandong University, and Zhang Zhengqiang, Director of Corporate Culture of Weichai Holding Group Co., Ltd., signed the cooperation agreement on case cooperation and development project on behalf of both parties. According to the agreement, the two sides will carry out a series of co-operation around the improvement of WOS management mode, summary and refinement of management cases and the construction of Weichai Business School.
Before the symposium, Wu Changqi and his team visited Weichai No.1 Factory and Science and Technology Exhibition Hall.
