Recently, the 2024 winter holiday practice activities of the School of Management were fully launched.
Combined with the university-level selection guidelines, the School integrates the characteristics of management disciplines to create an all-round and multi-level practice program matrix that is symbiotic of inheritance and innovation, online and offline together, spanning multiple scenarios and covering multiple regions. With a total of 659 participants from 93 teams, the School carefully selected topics and actively played the civilization role of communities, affiliations, museums, etc., so as to provide social practical opportunities with clear themes, professional content, and diverse forms.
The School of Management Young Marxists Team studied and implemented the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and comprehensively assisted in the education of ideology and politics, the study of the Party’s political report and the research of the community masses through the linkage of the University, Party branch, and community. As an iconic team across three grades, the Youth Bird Research Group has always insisted on visiting and researching, and is committed to promoting the combination of revolutionary tradition inheritance, theoretical knowledge learning, and learning results transformation, building a multi-position and coordinated publicity pattern of red bases, and exploring a typical sample of red education and practical learning in Shandong Province. Relying on village committees, museums and other resources, the Dream Building Red Tourism Team visits pro-revolutionaries in Beijing, Shanxi, Jiangsu and other places to learn the history.
The Linyi Yinan “Hope Home” Practice Team has cooperated with Yinan County “Hand in Hand” Orphaned Children’s Counselling Volunteer Service Group to help orphaned children grow up healthily through the mode of “homework counseling + five kinds of education” for four years. Based on the concept of “interdisciplinary, personalized and social responsibility”, the Linyi Lanling Voluntary Teaching Team introduced tea culture, painting culture, 24 solar terms culture, embroidery, and other excellent traditional Chinese cultures to the children, so as to pass on cultural confidence and carry out aesthetic education. The “Youth Bird” Propaganda Team established a comprehensive platform, taking the Youth Bird Program as a starting point, together with the Voice of Internship and other channels, to improve the students’ employment ability and vocational adaptability, promote individual career development and enhance the talent cultivation of the School.
Based on the model of “preaching + activities + communication”, the Xiji Volunteer Service Team focuses on the lack of self-protection awareness and safety knowledge of minors, the frequent occurrence of mental health problems and other social problems through the construction of a volunteer service platform and the development of a series of volunteer services, so as to help minors grow up healthily. The “Spring Rhythm, Dream Forward” Practice Group applies “management + thinking”, and implements the concept of “teaching a man to fish is better than giving him fish”. Taking into account the national policy and the information technology development, the Group drew up a targeted rural development program to promote the digital and innovative development of the local community. The Pingyin Youth Voluntary Teaching Team uses the big platform and big system class as the medium to promote the systematic teaching of knowledge and the dissemination of aesthetic education and is committed to creating a patriotic education mode of “every day and every course”.
To help teams carry out activities in a safe and orderly manner, the School of Management has taken many measures. The School requires each team to strictly implement the safety regulations of social practice, set up a group responsible for the safety of social practice during the holidays, and establish a safety management and protection mechanism. At the same time, the School actively opened up communication channels, issued a clear paper on the social practice requirements, and encouraged in-depth field investigation and research, expanding the practice scope, enriching the practice content, and demonstrating the practice style.
According to the continuous progress of the work, the School will continue to pay attention to the activities of practice teams and actively provide students with a full range of guidance and support to guide the young students to perform excellently in practice and make contributions to the Party and the people.
