To effectively enhance the discipline construction and improve the quality of talent cultivation, a discipline development seminar of the Department of Leadership and Organizational Management was held in Shanghe, Jinan from January 9th to 10th. Zhang Jianghua, Vice Dean of the School of Management, attended the seminar and delivered a speech. It was presided over by Liu Guangjian, Secretary of the Party Branch of the Department, and attended by teachers of the Department.
Focusing on the School’s talent cultivation and faculty construction, Vice Dean Zhang stressed the importance of education and teaching, and encouraged the young teachers to actively innovate teaching methods. He said that the School will continue to provide support and make efforts to improve the School’s overall quality of education and teaching, and the level of academic and research.
Based on the discipline construction, the participating teachers discussed the specific measures of optimizing curriculum setting and teaching methods around the education concept “five aspects of education”. About the talent cultivation, they explored the way to better combine theory and practice and effectively improve the overall quality and competitiveness of students, cultivating high-caliber management talents adapted to the needs of modern society. Afterward, teachers shared their experiences and challenges in teaching practice, discussed the direction of future teaching, and further clarified their discipline orientation and development goals.
The seminar marks a solid step forward for the Department in education and teaching. The exchange strengthened the cooperation and communication among teachers, promoted the integration of teaching and research, and further enhance the quality assurance system construction of talent cultivation.
