Recently, the Undergraduate School of Shandong University released the Notice on the Publication of Excellent Programs and Excellent Organizing Affiliations of Summer School in 2023. A total of three courses of the School of Management were awarded “Shandong University Summer School Outstanding Programs in 2023”, namely “Financial Reporting and Analysis” by Professor Pan Ailing, “Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management” by Professor Xu Yuehua, and “Precision Marketing and Branding Strategy” by Professor Huang Xiaoting. At the same time, the School was awarded “Shandong University Summer School Outstanding Organizing Affiliation in 2023”.
Based on the advantages of Shandong University as a comprehensive research university, the Summer School, which has been organized for 20 consecutive years, co-ordinates the educational resources of the whole university to promote the reform and innovation of talent cultivation mode and provide students with a unique learning experience.
Focusing on the objectives of “professional, international, innovative and open” and following the principle of “equal emphasis on theory and practice, as well as on innovation and inheritance”, the Undergraduate Education Centre of the School has been fully preparing for the Summer School and continuously improving the participation of teachers and students. In 2023, the School has offered 10 courses by overseas teachers, 1 summer professional program and 8 minor courses, with a total of 658 students taking the courses. Since 2019, the School has been awarded “Shandong University Summer School Excellent Organizing Affiliation” for five consecutive years. The selection of excellent summer school programs fully demonstrates the advantages of the School in terms of teaching quality and innovation capability.
