On December 26th, the conference of “Excellent Institutions and Excellent Cases of Digital Economy Application in Real Estate Industry in 2023” organized by China Real Estate Association was held in Beijing. “Shandong University - CRIC Real Estate Digitalization Laboratory Construction” was selected as “Excellent Case of Digital Economy Application in 2023” by China Real Estate Association, and it was the only representative of higher education institution that won the award in the first session. On behalf of the team, Associate Professor Kong Qingshan was invited to give a speech.
With the theme of “Digital Economy”, the activity is aimed at real estate enterprises, digital technology enterprises and higher education institutions across the country to discover and promote enterprises and projects with innovation and market prospects in the real estate industry, advance digital transformation and upgrading of the real estate industry, cultivate new forms and modes of business, push forward the development of industrial digitalization and intellectualization, and enhance the overall competitiveness of the real estate industry.
Taking the Ministry of Education’s Industry-University Cooperation Collaborative Training Project as the entry point, and relying on the National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center for Management Discipline and the National Virtual Simulation Experimental Teaching Center, the “Shandong University - CRIC Real Estate Digitization Laboratory Construction” integrates real estate data, 3D scanning, landscape modeling, VR simulation, 3D display, 3D printing, 360 holographic projection and other software and hardware resources, with the model-based system engineering (MBSE) as a tool, to develop real estate digitization system and take the lead in building a real estate digitization professional experimental platform integrating teaching, practical training and research in colleges and universities across China. It is a useful exploration for the digital development of the real estate industry, is the innovative model of the “new liberal arts” industry-teaching integration digitalization experimental practice teaching system. The laboratory will further establish the “industry-teaching integration” talent cultivation linkage mechanism in the aspects of real estate big data research and digital education and teaching, to realize the synchronous development of the professional construction and new technology integration and the industrial upgrading.
