Recently, in the selection of Shandong University Principal Award, Shandong University Self-improvement Star and Shandong University Graduate Student Ethic Award, four students of the School of Management, Jia Junyun, a doctoral student of class 2020, Wang Zhihui, a master’s student of class 2021, and Liu Shulin and Yin Xiaoxue, undergraduates of class 2020 were awarded the Shandong University Principal Award; Tu Di Ziyap, an undergraduate of class 2021, was awarded the Shandong University Self-improvement Star; Dao Yanyue, a master’s student of class 2022 was awarded the Shandong University Graduate Student Ethic Award.
Jia Junyun is a PhD student in Business Management in the class of 2020 in the School of Management. As the first author, she published research on sustainable human resource management in the management journal Human Resource Management (FT50, ABS 4-star journal, JCR 1). Taking Chinese enterprises as an example, the research solves the problem of the driving mechanism of sustainable human resource management, expands the research in the areas of institutional theory, leadership and resources redundancy, and provides theoretical guidelines for the government and enterprises to promote sustainable development. She has published 11 papers in high-level journals such as Human Resource Management, Science Research Management, Management Review, Chinese Journal of Management, etc., with 7 of them as the first author or corresponding author. She has participated in the research projects of the National Natural Foundation of China, and three teaching cases have been listed in the China Management Case-sharing Center. She was awarded the National Scholarship for Postgraduates, the Shandong Postgraduate Innovation Achievement Award, the Provincial Outstanding Student of Shandong Higher Education Institutions, and the 14th “May 4th Youth” Science Award of Shandong University.
Wang Zhihui, academic graduate student of Tourism Management in the class of 2021, has published 2 CSSCI papers and 1 SCI Q2 paper in Human Geography, Tourism Science and other high-level journals at home and abroad, one of which was reprinted by Renda Periodicals; nominated excellent conference papers twice, participated in the writing of 2 textbooks and 2 research projects. She has participated in 24 tourism projects, 3 innovation and entrepreneurship training programs for university students, 5 tourism theme competitions and 5 newspaper and journal publications, and won the honors of Excellent Practice Teams twice and Excellent Interns for 3 times. She has won the National Scholarship for Graduate Students and the title of Excellent Graduate Student Pacesetter, and won the title of Shandong University Excellent Graduate Student twice.
Liu Shulin, undergraduate student of Business Administration (International Business) in the class of 2020, participated in writing an empirical thesis in the field of cross-border e-commerce; took part in a National Undergraduate Training Program for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, won the first prize in the Shandong College and University Students Entrepreneurship Plan Competition, the silver medal of the “Challenge Cup” Provincial Competition, and other awards of various competitions. She actively participated in the Party history preaching activities; on behalf of the university participated in the diplomatic practice project in Beijing to visit international organizations such as the Asian Development Bank, and won the Outstanding Contribution Award in the United Nations Young Leaders Elite Class; participated in a research project on Canadian international organizations for the frontiers of SDG development. She has diversified internship experiences in international enterprises, which has accumulated rich strategic consulting practical skills. She has been awarded National Scholarships for 3 times, First Prize Academic Scholarships for 3 times, as well as the honors of Shandong University Merit Students and Shandong University Outstanding Communist Youth League Member.
Yin Xiaoxue, an undergraduate student in the Business Administration Innovation Experimental Class of 2020, has won 2 National Gold Awards in the China International Student Innovation Competition (2023), 1 National Silver Award in the “Challenge Cup” China Student Entrepreneurship Competition, and more than 30 awards at provincial and ministerial levels in other competitions. She has worked as an intern in the supply chain department of the Choice of New Oriental and the hypermarket division of JD.com with highly praised by the internship departments. She is currently the executive chairman of the Shandong University Student Science and Technology Association, and has guided more than 60 teams to win national and provincial awards in competitions such as the “Challenge Cup”, and carried out related lectures with more than 5,000 attendances. She has been awarded the honors of Shandong Outstanding Student and Shandong University Outstanding Communist Youth League Member and has received 10 scholarships, including the Shandong University Academic Scholarships and the Scholarship for Various Specialties of Shandong University.
Tu Di Ziyap, an undergraduate student in the class of 2021, majors in Business Administration (Culture and Tourism Management). He enlisted in the army in September 2019 and overcame the difficulties of the harsh natural environment. He trained hard and performed positively, which was highly recognized by the army leadership and comrades. In September 2021, he returned to the campus, and was awarded the “Outstanding Instructor in Military Training of Shandong University” for two years, and “Self-improvement Star of the School of Management” in 2021. He has participated in various volunteer activities, including the internship at Shinyway Education Group’s Internet operation project and the internship at Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Market Supervision and Administration.
Dao Yanyue is a Master’s student of Tourism Management in the class of 2022. As the captain of the 24th Shandong University Postgraduates Voluntary Teaching Corps in Henan Province, she contacted many donors to raise funds for the children to build a library and have football classes. Based on the major, she completed important public welfare planning for the tourism industry in Liuzhuang Town. She made a plan to help rural revitalization in Queshan County and produced promotional exhibition boards for poverty alleviation enterprises. She is now a member of the Leadership Team of the Graduate Student Association of Shandong University and the monitor of the class 2022. She has published 1 SCI/SSCI paper; participated in academic conferences and nominated excellent conference papers; participated in the editing of textbooks and research projects. As the person in charge of the Master and PhD Service Group, she visited and researched at the grassroots level, provided effective programs and service with the characteristics of Shandong University, and her team was selected as the provincial excellent practice team. She has won more than 50 university-level honors, including the First Class Academic Scholarship for Postgraduates, the Excellent Scholarship from the Origin of Student, the Outstanding Postgraduate Leadership Award, the Outstanding Communist Youth League Member, and the Outstanding Graduate Award.
