On December 7th, the Party Branch for Faculty Members of the Department of Culture and Tourism, School of Management, Shandong University, together with the Party Branch of Shandong Tourism Trade Association, carried out the listing ceremony of the “Three Zeroes Yard” Rural Tourism Counselling Station in Jingangzuan Village and the rural tourism resources investigation activities. Sun Ping, Secretary of the Party Branch for Faculty Members of the Department of Culture and Tourism, Shang Yuxuan, Secretary of the Party Branch of Shandong Tourism Trade Association, Ding Zaixian and Wu Kai, Vice Presidents of the Association, and Ma Guangye, Secretary of the Village Branch of Jingangzuan Village, participated in the activity.
They carried out research in homestays, farmhouses, exhibition rooms, village history museum, bone carving calligraphy & zodiac culture square and other places in the village, understood the local rural tourism resources and development status quo, and watched the documentary Realize the Dream with the spirit of Yugong moving mountains (indomitable spirit).
During the exchange, Secretary Ma introduced the development history of Jingangzuan Village, the villagers’ indomitable spirit and the main problems existing in rural tourism development. Secretary Sun highlighted the construction concept and development history of Shandong University’s “Three Zeroes Yard” Project and shared the operation and cooperation experience of other Projects in the province. The two sides reached a consensus on the development concept and cooperation methods, and further discussed the typical case of “contemporary Yugong” in Jingangzuan Village to explore the rural study program with indomitable spirit.
Going forward, faculty of the Department of Culture and Tourism will make full use of “Three Zeroes Yard” rural tourism counselling station to provide intellectual support, deeply explore local history and culture, focus on the integration of industry, discipline, and research, help upgrade the quality of rural tourism in Jingangzuan Village, further deepen the series of work of “Three Zeroes Yard” Rural Tourism Counselling Station of Shandong University, and empower the high-quality development of Shandong rural tourism.
