On December 2nd, the opening ceremony of class 2023-2024 and the closing ceremony of class 2022-2023 for Shandong University-Shandong Leading Talents of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) of the PRC in Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Operation and Management was held by the School of Management of Shandong University in Tai’an, Shandong. Li Zongchen, Deputy Director of the Talent Service Division of the Talent Exchange Center of the MIIT, Zheng Yuefeng, Director of the Service System Construction Division of the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Shandong Province, Liu Min’an, Director of the Enterprise Service Department of Shandong Light Industry Collective Enterprise Association and Director of Shandong SMEs Development and Promotion Center, Wang Ercheng, Deputy Secretary General of Shandong Enterprise Confederation, Li Wenhui, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of Industry and Information Technology Bureau of Taishan District, Meng Qingchun, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School, and Zhang Xiaofeng, Assistant Dean and Director of the Senior Management Education Center attended the ceremony. The ceremony was hosted by Yang Yu, the project leader of the Talent Exchange Center of MIIT.
Meng Qingchun said that the MIIT Leading Talent Training is a high-end training program developed by the School to serve the regional development of Shandong Province, combining its experience and advantages in the local practice of management in China. He encouraged students to learn from each other, bear heavy responsibilities, and practice the spirit of Confucian business in the new era.
Zheng Yuefeng expressed his gratitude to the MIIT Talent Exchange Center for its strong support and to Shandong University for its quality training. He said that the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Shandong Province will bring together resources from all walks of life to effectively improve the service quality of institutions for SMEs, and to promote the development of the industrial chain, supporting the integration of the market, technology, talent, finance and other resources.
Li Zongchen sent messages to the students: first, carry forward the entrepreneurship of tenacity; second, develop the enterprise with the spirit of modesty; third, integrate the development of enterprises with the prosperity of the country and the happiness of the people.
Representative Wang Mingliang, monitor of class 2022-2023 and chairman of Jinan Mingfuliang Industry and Trade Co., Ltd., gave a speech. He realized that systematic learning is a necessary way for entrepreneurs to be successful, and the study at Shandong University guides the students to think deeply and act decisively in enterprise management and strategic planning.
Zhang Xiao, General Manager of Shandong KaiTECH Shot Blasting Machinery Co., Ltd. and student of class 2023-2024, spoke as a representative of the new trainees. He thanked the MIIT for its support for the development of SMEs and thanked the MIIT and Shandong University for giving the trainees a platform for communication and learning. He called on the students to help each other, make friends and grow together.
At the ceremony, Liu Min’an, Meng Qingchun, Li Wenhui and Zhang Xiaofeng awarded certificates of completion to the representatives of the graduated students; Li Zongchen and Zheng Yuefeng awarded the class flag to the class teachers, Li Tingting and Zhang Xiao; Han Miaoxu and Wang Ercheng, engineers of the Department of Enterprise Service and Shandong SMEs Development and Promotion Center, Fu Xiaoran, Chief of the Enterprise Section of Industry and Information Technology Bureau of Taishan District, and other guests put on leader badges and Shandong University badges for the representatives of the new students.
From December 2nd to 3rd, Shandong University’s leading talent program was launched in the form of combining course learning and study visits with local famous enterprises in Tai’an. Professor Meng gave a lecture on the theme of “Accelerating the construction of a new development pattern and striving to promote high-quality development - macroeconomic situation, hot issues, and trend research and judgment”. Participants visited Taikai Group, China Customer Relationship Centre, Taibang Biologic Group, and SHANDONG ROAD EARTH MATERIAL CO., LTD. and carried out seminars.
