On November 24th, Zhou Lin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Management, Shandong University, and Sun Ping, Secretary of the Party Branch for Faculty of the Department of Culture and Tourism, and their team went to Changyu Village to attend the opening ceremony of the “Three Zeroes Yard” (Zero Time Zone, Zero Distance, Zero Cost) Rural Tourism Counselling Station and conduct a meeting and research activities.
At the meeting, Xu Gang, Secretary of the Liubu Street Working Committee of the Party, gave a brief introduction to the current situation of cultural and tourism development and the main problems in Changyu Village. Deputy Secretary Zhou introduced the development achievements and disciplinary advantages of the School and the Department and expressed her expectation for deepening cooperation between the two sides. Secretary Sun introduced the achievements of the Party Branch in the implementation of the Party building, discipline integration, rural revitalization, precision poverty alleviation, and Yellow River culture construction, focusing on the construction concept and development history of “Three Zeroes Yard” Project of Shandong University, and shared the operation and cooperation experience of other “Three Zeroes Yard” Projects in Shandong Province. The two sides reached a consensus on the development concept, cooperation content and cooperation mode.
The team carried out research, visited the cultural resources, investigated the construction of the Party and Mass Service Center and the Culture & Sports Plaza in Changyu Village, and understood the current situation of the local rural tourism development, carrying out the opening ceremony of the Station.
Going forward, the Party Branch will actively take the Station as an opportunity to provide support for the operation, management, and service of rural tourism by integrating expert resources, sending student practice teams and other forms so as to offer planning assistance, counselling and coaching. At the same time, creating rural tourism spots with regional characteristics, the School will continue to help Changyu Village to develop its rural tourism with high quality and further deepen the Project development.
