College of Business, University College Dublin Visited the School of Management

On November 23rd, Don Bredin, Vice Minister of the College of Business of University College Dublin (UCD), and Ché Smith, Asia-Pacific Admissions Manager of UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, visited the School of Management of Shandong University. Qiao Yue, Vice Dean of the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Zhang Qunzi, Vice Dean of the School of Economics, and Tang Guiyao, Vice Dean of the School of Management, attended the meeting.


Don Bredin introduced the basic situation, discipline programs, and talent cultivation of the College of Business; Vice Dean Zhang introduced the faculty strength, research programs, and international cooperation programs of the School of Economics; and Vice Dean Tang introduced the School of Management in terms of the discipline development, experimental platforms, and international cooperation and accreditation. They had an in-depth discussion on potential cooperation programs such as future visits of teachers and students as well as talent cultivation, and reached a preliminary consensus on strengthening the follow-up contact and cooperation.


Before the meeting, participants visited the National Demonstration Center for Experimental Education in Management, the National Virtual Simulation Experimental Education Center, and the “13th Five-Year Plan” Key Laboratory of Shandong Higher Education Institutions, and gained a comprehensive understanding of the hardware and software facilities, the equipment and the environment, and the demonstration effect.
