In order to communicate with students face-to-face about course experience, teaching quality, and learning experience, the School of Management held a mid-term teaching seminar for the first semester of the academic year 2023-2024 on November 23rd. 14 undergraduate representatives of the grades of 2021, 2022, and 2023 took part in the seminar, which was presided over by the Vice Dean of the School, Huang Xiaoting.
The student representatives spoke one by one on the issues of course arrangement, teaching quality, course assessment, learning pressure, major streaming, textbooks, and teaching management, and put forward their opinions and suggestions on the teachers’ teaching attitude, instruction methods and style, homework arrangement, internship, etc. In response to these questions, Vice Dean Huang answered the questions on the spot. The Undergraduate Education Center of the School intends to further connect the departments with the authorities and make adjustments and improvements according to the actual situation, so as to help students carry out their study life on campus in a better way.
The seminar has built a platform for communication and exchange between the School and students, and the School will continue to put the improvement of moral education in the first place, solving the practical problems of students and promoting the talent cultivation.
