On November 19th, the Intelligent Accounting Forum of the First Shandong Data Science Conference and the Second Annual Meeting of the Artificial Intelligence Accounting and Finance Branch of the Shandong Big Data Research Association were held.
Zhang Jianghua, Vice Dean of the School of Management, introduced the development history, educational characteristics, and discipline construction achievements of the School. He said that the Branch is committed to the frontier research of intelligent accounting. At the same time, he emphasized the important role of Artificial Intelligence Accounting and Finance Research in promoting the development of discipline construction.
Focused on teaching reform of accounting and auditing in the era of digital intelligence, Level-2 Professor Wang Huacheng of the Renmin University of China, Associate Professor Xiong Feng of the Department of Accounting and Deputy Director of the Center for Accounting Studies of Xiamen University, and Distinguished Professor Ge Yongbo of the School of Accountancy of Shandong University of Finance and Economics were invited to give speeches on “Demand and Teaching Reforms for Accounting and Finance Positions in the Era of Artificial Intelligent”, “Exploration of Auditing Education Reform in the Era of Artificial Intelligent - Taking Big Data Auditing Course of Xiamen University as an Example”, and “Exploration and Practice of Intelligent Accounting Discipline Construction” respectively. Professor Huang Rong, Li Dak Sum Chair Professor from Department of Accounting of Fudan University, Professor Zhang Yuming, Professor from School of Management of Shandong University, and Li Ruixue, Deputy Director of the Department of Intelligent Accounting of School of Accountancy of Shandong University of Finance and Economics, to give speeches on “Data Asset Evaluation and Inputting into the Table”, “Intelligent Accounting Training System”, and “CFO Personal Characteristics and Accounting Information Quality: Empirical Evidence Based on Machine Learning” respectively. Wang Yusen, Chief Financial Officer of Inspur General Software Co., Ltd., presented a series of achievements of INSPUR GROUP in the integration of industry and finance and its digital development under the title of “Digital Technology Empowers Management Accounting”, and inspired academic thinking with enterprise practices.
The forum selected one first prize, two second prizes, and six excellent prizes for excellent papers. Professor Zhang Yuming announced the results and presented awards to the representatives of the winning authors. Li Jing, Secretary General of the Association, issued the Intelligent Accountant Certificate to the representatives of the first phase of Intelligent Accountant Students. Qiu Zhaoxue, Secretary General of the Branch and Dean of the School of Accounting, Shandong Management University, presided over the closing ceremony, summarizing the cutting-edge academic viewpoints of the forum and making outlooks for the next annual meeting.
The forum was organized by the School and the Branch, hosted by Shandong University, Shandong Association for Science & Technology, Shandong Provincial Big Data Bureau, and co-organized by Inspur General Software Co., Ltd. A total of more than 90 people from Inspur General Software Co., Ltd., Shandong University of Finance and Economics, Shandong Technology and Business University, Jiangsu Province Hospital, Economic Science Press, and Shandong University, etc. attended the forum.
The Artificial Intelligence Accounting and Finance Branch of Shandong Big Data Research Association is jointly initiated by Shandong University, Shandong University of Finance and Economics, Shandong Normal University, and other affiliations, with the support of the Shandong Big Data Research Association, aiming to build a platform to explore the integration of new technologies such as big data and artificial intelligence and accounting, financial management and other disciplines and provide high-quality services for the economic and social development to cultivate accounting and finance talents to meet the needs of new technological changes. Zhang Yuming, Professor of the School of Management, Shandong University, and Director of the Institute of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, serves as the branch president.
