In order to thoroughly implement the Opinions on Deepening the Reform of Modern Vocational Education System Construction issued by the General Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the General Office of the State Council, JD Logistics, the School of Management of Shandong University, and Qingdao Technical College cooperate to set up the National Community of Intelligent Logistics Industry-Education Integration. It is aimed at advancing the educational resources of vocational education and general education programs to match the strategic layout of the regional logistics industry, deepening the integration of industry and education, and supporting the high-quality development of the industry.
Recently, at the 60th China Higher Education Expo, the unveiling ceremony and inaugural meeting of the National Community of Intelligent Logistics Industry-Education Integration was held in Qingdao. Lin Yu, Deputy Director of the Department of Vocational and Adult Education of the Ministry of Education, Zhou Jiansong, Chairman of the Technical and Vocational Education Branch of China Association of Higher Education, and Sun Zuxing, Level-Ⅱ Inspector of the Department of Education of Shandong Province, and other leaders attended the meeting.
Zhou Lin, Deputy Party Secretary of the School, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. During the meeting, she presented plaques to the Community member organizations.
Professor Xie Jingci, Director of the Institute of Logistics and Supply Chain Management of Shandong University, gave a keynote report on the topic of “Supply Chains and Digital Transformation of Intelligent Logistics” at the Forum on the Innovative Development of the Integration of Industry and Education. The report introduced the concept and characteristics of supply chains of intelligent logistics, the intelligent mechanism and business system composition of intelligent logistics system, management system and mapping of intelligent supply chains, etc. It also analyzed the mechanism of digital transformation and the way to create value for enterprises and discussed the digital transformation to accelerate the upgrading and innovation of intelligent logistics supply chains.
106 representatives from more than 72 organizations in 21 provinces, autonomous regions and cities across China attended the meeting.
The establishment of the National Community of Intelligent Logistics Industry-Education Integration is a practice with the joint effort from government, enterprises, universities and research institutes to cultivate specialists and promote the high-quality development of the modern logistics industry. The Community will bring together the four parties to explore innovative modes and development paths of industry-education integration, contributing to promote the development of industry and education, build a strong logistics country, and create an advanced area for the integration.
In recent years, the School has given full play to the advantages of the discipline and continuously explored new talent cultivation modes, basing Shandong Province and aiming to serve its development. Going forward, the School will further strengthen the construction of collaborative education and social service, and make concerted efforts with all parties to build the National Community of Intelligent Logistics Industry-Education Integration into a strategic community of common development and a coordinated community of action.
