Recently, the National Demonstration Center for Experimental Basic Medical Education of Shandong University and the Business School of Shandong Agriculture and Engineering University visited the National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center for Management Discipline respectively for research and exchange.
On the afternoon of the 12th, Meng Qingchun, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Management, received a visit from a total of 9 people including Zou Yongxin, Vice Dean of the School of Basic Medical Science of Shandong University and Director of the National Demonstration Center for Experimental Basic Medical Education, and its Executive Deputy Director Liu Shangming. He introduced the history and discipline profile of the School, as well as the major initiatives and achievements of the School in recent years in the construction of faculty, innovation in talent cultivation mode, promotion of research, expansion of social services, and innovation in cultural heritage. Zou Yongxin highly praised the achievements of the School and Demonstration Center for Management Discipline in recent years, and hoped that the two sides would further deepen the communication and cooperation, and jointly explore the cross-fertilization development of “New Liberal Arts” and “New Medical Science”.
On the morning of the 8th, Gai Jianhua, Executive Director of the Demonstration Center for Management Discipline, received a visit from a group of six people led by Lian Hua, Dean of the Business School of Shandong Agriculture and Engineering University. He introduced the basic situation, the management and operation mechanism, teaching reform and research, and teaching conditions of the Center. Lian Hua said that the Center has been at the forefront of China, and achieved fruitful results in laboratory construction and experimental teaching reform. During the meeting, the visiting teachers communicated and exchanged views with Associate Professor Liu Chunyu of the Department of Accounting of the School on the construction of the intelligent accounting laboratory.
After the meeting, Zou Yongxin and Lian Hua with their respective teams visited the National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center for Management Discipline, the National Virtual Simulation Experimental Teaching Center, and the Liberal Arts Laboratory of Higher Education Institutions in Shandong Province (Class A) to learn about the construction and development of hardware and software facilities of the Demonstration Center.
In recent years, the National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center for Management Discipline has continuously carried out the laboratory construction of “New Liberal Arts” to create a new experimental teaching system and experimental teaching mode. The Center has won the “Second Prize of the National Teaching Achievement”, “First Prize of the Ninth Shandong Province Teaching Achievement Award”, “Second Prize of the 9th Shandong Province Teaching Achievement Award”, and “2021 Postgraduate Teaching Achievement Award of Shandong University” in 2022. The School hosted and organized 45 national conferences and 47 training sessions, and members of the Center have been invited to make relevant keynote speeches at national conferences such as “Joint Meeting of Directors of National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center for Economics and Management Discipline” and “Seminar on the Construction of National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center” for over 20 times, forming a certain influence in the field of experimental teaching of management.
