On September 8th, Li Qiang, Vice Dean of the School of Economics and Management of the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, and his team visited the School of Management of Shandong University. Qi Guijie, Dean of the School of Business and professor of the School of Management, Huang Xiaoting, Vice Dean of the School of Management, professor Xie Yongzhen from the Department of Strategy and Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and the relevant persons in charge presented the symposium, which was hosted by Zhang Jianghua, Vice Dean of the School of Management.
At the symposium, Qi Guijie, Zhang Jianghua and Huang Xiaoting expressed their warm welcome to the visit of Li Qiang and his team. Both sides introduced the development history, organizational setup, discipline construction, laboratory construction and student training of their respective schools. Li Qiang expressed his thanks for the reception of the School of Management and affirmed the laboratory construction, research results and achievements of the School of Management. He hoped to further strengthen exchanges with the School of Management and learn from the valuable experience in experimental teaching, management mode and other aspects. Teachers of the two sides carried out in-depth exchanges and discussions on the construction of national first-class courses, the setting of experimental courses, the introduction of talents, and the experience of experimental platform construction.
The participants then visited the National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center and National Virtual Simulation Experimental Teaching Center of Management Discipline and the key laboratory of Shandong Higher Education Institutions in the “13th Five-Year Plan”, and carried out in-depth research on the laboratory hardware and software facilities, equipment and environment, and demonstration effect.
