The National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) is one of the important indexes to measure the level of disciplines and research strength, which plays a positive role in promoting the discipline construction, talent cultivation and foreign cooperation and exchange in the School.

In recent years, the School has attached great importance to the declaration and management of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. On one hand, through the innovative team construction and research platforms, the School steadily promotes the development of outstanding talents and high-quality research output, and strives to create better research conditions and atmosphere for the teachers of the School. On the other hand, according to the working idea of “whole process, advance, organized” and “talent, focus, one-to-one”, the School continuously improves the level of research service, organizes fund declaration mobilization meeting and experience sharing meeting, incorporates the “pre-assessment” system into the declaration quality control process, and effectively improves the application quality and the funding rate of programs by relying on experts inside and outside the School.

Next, the School will continue to plan ahead to organize various programs, and promote the research organization and management upgrading, enhancing the overall level of research in the School and bringing together a strong impetus for the development of the School.
