On May 4, the School of Management held the 16th AACSB International Accreditation Promotion Meeting and Training on AoL System. The leadership team and representatives of faculty and staff attended the training, which was hosted by Vice Dean Tang Guiyao.
Dean Wu Changqi pointed out that since the AACSB accreditation was officially launched in 2021, the school has overcome many difficulties such as the COVID-19 epidemic and made certain achievements. At present, the school accreditation has officially entered the interactive stage. AACSB will comprehensively inspect the construction and development of the school in many aspects, including vision and mission, strategic planning, discipline development, talent training, social impact, and software and hardware facilities through online evaluation and offline visit. He emphasized that AoL is the focus of AACSB accreditation, which requires the school to attach great importance to it and cooperate fully to complete the work.
Wang Jing, deputy director of the Center for International Cooperation and Accreditation, explained in detail the work related to AoL system. She said that after defining the scope of accreditated programs, the school has successively confirmed the CGs(competency goals) and LOs(learning objectives), and the first draft of the curriculum map has been drawn by the accreditation office. And then, the teachers of each department will confirm the contents of the curriculum map, choose the evaluation method and evaluate some of the curriculum in the map, and finally collect and analyze the results.
Meng Qingchun, secretary of the Party Committee, expressed his gratitude to the teachers for their active participation in the conclusion. He emphasized that the road of school accreditation coincides with the concept of high-quality development of higher education, and hoped that the faculty and staff of all departments in the school could make unremitting efforts to get AACSB international accreditation at an early date and realize the connotative high-quality development of the School of Management.
