In the afternoon of May 16, the mid-term meeting of the graduate teaching reform project of the School of Management and the special research meeting on high-quality cultivation of graduate students were held. Meng Qingchun, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College, and all teachers in charge of the teaching reform projects participated in this meeting, and Zhang Jianghua, Vice Dean, took the chair.
Zhang Jianghua said that the launch of the graduate teaching reform project showed that the school attached great importance to the quality of graduate education, adhered to the principle of high standards and strict requirements. He also hoped that teachers would conduct teaching research with a rigorous attitude and constantly improve the quality of teaching. At the same time, it is necessary to continuously improve the whole process of institutional construction, explore the current “challenges” and “difficulties” of graduate teaching from various dimensions, work together to solve problems, and achieve the high-quality graduate teaching.
All teachers who joint the teaching reform project shared their research on their own subjects. Xin Jie and other teachers addressed the problems of insufficient matching of existing teaching with the domestic status quo and weak explanatory ability of literature in class by integrating the courses and developing classes matching the domestic status quo to improve the teaching quality. Han Ruobing and other teachers collected previous cases and data, and explored relevant teaching materials to achieve interdisciplinary connection and overcome the blind spots of knowledge. Li Ying and other teachers analyze the problems of balancing the contradiction between work and study for part-time graduate students, adjust teaching and assessment methods, and optimize teaching contents and methods. Wang Jingpeng and other teachers conduct research on the role of supervisory team in the process of talent cultivation and the moral education of graduate students, aiming to promote the overall development of graduate students. Zhang Jianghua gave a brief introduction on the current situation and dilemma of high-quality education of graduates. The participating teachers had a lively discussion on various problems in the process of graduate teaching.
