The First-Class Undergraduate Course Declaration Exchange Meeting Held by the School of Management

On the afternoon of May 25, to promote the cultivation, construction and application of first-class courses, improve the course construction, and enhance teachers’ teaching design ability, the School of Management held an exchange meeting on the application of first-class undergraduate courses, and invited Professor Rong Xiaoxia from the School of Mathematics and Professor Wang Zhenya from the School of Mechanical Engineering to guide the application of first-class undergraduate courses. Our school intends to declare the first-class undergraduate course leaders and the teachers of the undergraduate education center to attend the meeting.


At the meeting, Professor Wang Zhenya gave an in-depth and detailed explanation on the historical evolution, approval status, application strategy and application writing of first-class courses, and gave specific guidance for teachers to apply for the third batch of first-class courses. Professor Rong Xiaoxia made communications in combination with the successful experience of applying for national first-class undergraduate courses, and shared her experience in the preparation of application materials and the design of teaching samples. The participating teachers had a full exchange with experts on the problems encountered in the course construction and the writing of the declaration. With the guidance of two experts with pertinence, practicality and operability, everyone has benefited a lot.


This meeting has positive guiding significance for the construction of first-class undergraduate courses in our school, which enables the participating teachers to deeply understand the application requirements of first-class undergraduate courses and further deepens the understanding of the connotation of curriculum construction, playing an important role in promoting the next-step undergraduate course construction in our college.
