Recently, the Human Resources and Social Security Department of Shandong Province announced “The Results of the 1st (2022) Evaluation of Human Resources And Social Security Projects in Shandong Province”. The Project, “Research on the Achievements of People at the Grassroots after the Expiration of ‘Three Supports and One Assistance’ in Shandong Province”, hosted by Associate Professor Wang Zheng of the School of Management, won the excellent evaluation in the 1st Shandong Human Resources and Social Security Project, which was the only team in our university to receive this honor. It is reported that a total of 91 applications for project completion were accepted in this selection, and only 7 projects were appraised with an excellent rate of 7.7% by peer experts.
To promote the grassroots employment project of college graduates with “Three Supports And One Assistance” in Shandong province, based on the current situation of on-the-job personnel with “Three Supports And One Assistance” in Shandong province, from the perspective of “selecting, educating, using, and staying”, this project follows the theory of human resource management research, combines the current situation of “Three Supports And One Assistance” in Shandong Province and the internal and external factors affecting the work of “Three Supports And One Assistance” personnel, and puts forward the selection and recruitment system. Besides, the project uses the method of empirical research to carry out research work for the fourth round of “Three Supports And One Assistance” on-the-job personnel, and collects 1507 questionnaires and 16 municipal research reports. On the basis of data analysis, we strive to actively innovate the whole process support system of the “Three Supports And One Assistance” plan, and solve the problems of insufficient motivation, poor channels, insufficient role, limited development space, and poor service guarantee for service personnel at the grassroots.
Wang Zheng, associate professor of the School of Management, Shandong University, Ph.D. jointly trained by Sungkyunkwan University and Guanghua School of Management, Peking University, and postdoctoral fellow of Guanghua School of Management, Peking University. His main research interests include leadership traits and behaviors, team social networks and team behaviors, and strategic talent management. The research results are published in high-level journals of management at home and abroad, such as Journal of Applied Psychology, Personnel Psychology, Human Relations, Asia Pacific Journal of Management and Current Psychology.
